Greeny Peanut Although we are not a printer, we make it convenient for you by offering printing services for the designs we create. We use a combination of digital and off-set printers to get the best quality and competitive prices.

Environmentally Friendly Commitment

With our Greeny Peanut Promise, we have made a commitment to use environmentally friendly printing for designs. We're proud to say we use printers that ensure we make the least impact on the environment without sacrificing quality. We focus on three primary areas with printing:

Paper - We use eco-friendly papers with the highest degree of recycling whenever possible. Almost all of the paper waste from our printers is recycled into top-notch quality paper stock. Our matte paper is made with 50% recycled fiber and bleached without the use of chlorine compounds. Our 70-lb. matte text paper also incorporates 30% post-consumer waste. At this time, our envelopes are not made with recycled paper, but we are looking for a suitable supplier to meet our standards. The envelopes are compatible with laser and ink jet printers.

Inks - Our printers use soy-based inks, which are kind to our environment, emitting fewer volatile organic compounds than traditional petroleum-based inks. When aqueous coatings are required or requested, we use a non-toxic, water-based aqueous coating.

Shipping - We purposely use printers from East to West Coasts to reduce the need for long-distance shipping. As a result, shipping costs and fossil fuel emissions are drastically reduced and your carbon footprint is significantly diminished.
